Troop 204 will be at Tomahawk Scout Reservation August 7 through Aug. 14, 2010. We will be staying in the Chippewa sub-camp, Arapahoe camp site. This is the same great location as previous years.
A Scout can earn up to 4 merit badges. First year Scouts take the Brownsea program which covers many of the skills needed to earn Tenderfoot and Second class rank.
Food is served in the Chippewa Dining Hall in pre-packaged portions by table.
Camp Fees for the seven-night camping program and camp food service (Saturday P.M. to Saturday A.M.) are $229.00 per Scouts registering for camp with $25.00 registration by April 15, 2010.
$239.00 for Scouts registering for camp after April 15. Exception: Scouts who join the troop after February 15 are eligible to attend Tomahawk at the $229.00 rate.
Leader’s Fee: The fee for troop leadership using the camp food service is $90.00 per leader (includes $2.00 Wisconsin State Food Tax). Additional leaders visiting for less than one week can use the camp food service on a per-meal basis. This fee reflects the cost of food and preparation. Daily Meal Charges: All meals cost - $4.50 each.
Visitors arriving in camp to visit troops must check in at the Welcome Center and park in the long-term parking lot in Chippewa. Visitors are asked to walk, not drive, to their campsite destination.
